PreGel one of the sponsors of the course “Temporary Space & Exhibition Design” organized by Consorzio del Politecnico of Milan
Seven supporting companies and seven projects to innovate retail and communicate products and values through the design of points-of-sale and exhibition spaces.
The high-level training course "Temporary Space & Exhibition Design", organized by POLI.Design, Consorzio del Politecnico of Milan, concluded on 11th February. Among the academic sponsors of this initiative, that brought 38 architects and designers selected on an international scale into the lecture hall, there is also PreGel, a leading company in the production of semi-finished products for gelato shops.
The design of temporary points-of-sale and innovative exhibition spaces, capable of expressing business values, stimulating the connection with the public and performing the function of sales, was the key subject of the lessons. PreGel, together with the other partners, played an active role in the training programme with lectures and in-depth analysis of its sector. In addition, for the concluding project work one of the seven work teams was invited to study an innovative point-of-sale format.
In view of future projects and to offer its customers strategic advisory services and increasingly more effective marketing, the company sustained a training pathway complete with frontal lessons and guided visits to retail spaces and exhibitions, to identify guidelines for the evolution of retail spaces so as to understand the relationship between product, public, brand communication and market.
"The element that all the courses have in common is a continual comparison with the reality of the businesses, that can be accomplished thanks to the collaboration with the academic sponsors," underlines Andrea Manfredi, architect and lecturer of POLI.design, "It is a fundamental aspect to gauge the tangible situation and is extremely important for designers".
