HAPPYGELATO AIMING FOR THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS

HappyGelato® (www.happygelato.com), PreGel’s winning taste for the 2008 season, opens the new season with an important mission: trying to become the first artisanal gelato taste in history to enter the world’s most famous book of records, the one and only “Guinness World Records!”

We’ll explain how.
On 28th March 2009 next, Frau Theresia Wolfsegger, the owner of the Bellini Gelato Shop of Marchtrenk (Austria), will again try and enter the “Guinness World Records” with an exhilarating challenge: the longest chain of children in a row, licking gelato!!

Already last year (as shown in the photos published here) the Wolfseggers had tried to enter the famous book with the creation of an Iceberg of gelato, but they were beaten by just 16 cm.
This year, the owners of the Bellini Gelato Shop have decided to get children involved to make a human chain enjoying a good gelato, they hope to reach 500 children; at the moment, in fact, the record is of 424 children up to 14 years of age, achieved at the Praterallee in Vienna.

Besides the main challenge, the Wolfseggers will also try and make “the iciest fireman’s ladder in the world”, made with 60/70 different tastes of artisanal gelato, corresponding to 3,000/3,500 scoops of gelato!

The double challenge is to be accompanied with lots of excellent artisanal gelato, thousands of balloons and, obviously, “HappyGelato®”, the record taste!

It only remains for us to wish “good luck” to HappyGelato®, to the Wolfseggers and lots of fun for those taking part in this fun event!
