BERGAMASCO BROTHERS NOW OFFICIAL PREGEL TESTIMONIALS

PreGel – a leading company in the gelato and confectionery sector - has chosen Mauro and Mirco Bergamasco, Italian symbols of rugby and the positive values communicated by this sport, as testimonials for 2010 and for the brands of HappyGelato®, Tricolour Dream and Wellness Gelato. These two champions have allowed us to use their image in our communications with trade and end consumers.



Reggio Emilia, 22nd January 2010 – . PreGel’s strategy continues with the involvement of representative symbols and personalities of Italy. After the summer tour of events associated with the Frecce Tricolori flying team, the Reggio Emilia company has recently concluded an agreement with the Bergamasco brothers, Italian national rugby champions and models of Italian excellence throughout the world.



Team spirit, courage, generosity, loyalty and respect are values that most distinguish the world of rugby, perfectly represented by Mauro and Mirco Bergamasco. Values associated with energy and positiveness that are demonstrated in the Third Half at the end of the game, when winners and losers celebrate together in the name of sport. These values are strongly shared by PreGel and its brands: the philosophy behind HappyGelato® (www.happygelato.com) is clear right from its payoff “A World of Happiness”, Tricolour Dream with its colours recalls the Italian flag, while Wellness Gelato is the functional gelato with proposals that along with the taste of artisanal gelato feature great attention to nutritional values with a view to healthy eating but without giving anything up. There are going to be various promotional activities, geared both to gelato makers and to the end consumer. For the start-up phase, the image of the Bergamasco brothers has been selected for the cover of the reward point catalogues dedicated to trade. The visual shows the two champions with their rugby uniforms customized with PreGel’s institutional colours and the HappyGelato® logo.
